Deadline extended: Enter the Cooper sewing contest by Sunday night to win!

COOPERSEWALONG

We’ve decided to give you the weekend to finish your Cooper bag and enter to win the contest.

Enter by Dec 16

So this is just a friendly reminder to finish up your beautiful bags and post them with the right tags in our Flickr group by December 15 at midnight PST for your chance to win one of several $100+ gift certificates.

Also a note for the customizations category. Since the prize for that is a gift certificate for Gifts for Crafters, and this holiday pop-up may largely be out of stock on many items by the end of December, you will have a choice between that and a gift certificate to Colette Patterns… or even split it 50/50.

For details on the prizes and how to enter, see the contest post!

Yay!!! I really wanted to enter but ran out of time with all the Holiday craziness. Now hopefully I can get mine done! This makes my day :D

Oh thank goodness. The last fortnight has been a exhausting combination of experiments (why, cells ,why?) and social obligations. I was going to marathon sewing my backpack before midnight tonight, so it’s a relief to know I can take a little bit more time. And get some sleep. Thank you so much!

Done! Love it. great size, shape and style. Big enough for all the school books. The perfect bag.

Mmm, hopefully Sunday will give the dear people at flickr enough time to review my account.

I’m posting this for all the people who are wondering why their photos aren’t showing up in the colette photostream:

Before your account is reviewed, your photos will be invisible to others if you post them in a group. The review period is now 10 days to 4 weeks according to the nice people at the flickr forum.

I naively believed that 5 days would be more then enough time for flickr to figure out I’m not a spammer. Apparently not.

For everyone who’s in the same situation: Oh well, at least we have nice bags :).

Greetings, I was going to post my photos to enter the contest, but if there is a delay as mentioned by Rosesred, then I will not have the time to post them! Is there a workaround? I will be doing the “photo shoot” tomorrow, which is the last day to submit the photos.

Hi, the problem I mention only happens if you have a new flickr account. Otherwise, you’re all set. Good luck

Well, I just signed up for an account. I uploaded my photos, and I can see them, but when I check by looking from another computer, no one else can see them yet. So, this is terribly frustrating. :-(

Well, this turned out not really to be a problem. My photos are showing up. I hope that yours are, too. Thanks.

I’m having the same problem with my account. It’s not new but I hadn’t posted any photos until last week. They still aren’t showing up in the group, even though someone has seen them and added it to their favourites. I’m gutted to be missing this contest.
On the plus side, I have an amazing new panier bike bag!

I was not able to enter the contest but I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed making my bag. I finished it in 3 nights!!! The instructions were so clear and the waxed canvas was pretty easy to work with once I bought my new Bernina 380!! I hope my son likes his bag as much as I enjoyed making it! I think his brother and sister will now want one. Thank you Colette team!!
