What kind of fabric did you use? It’s a glen plaid wool stretch (98% wool, 2% lycra) that I bought from the oh so suave Marcial (my new fabric boyfriend) at Paron’s in New York City.
How did you decide to reflect your personal style in the pattern? Actually, when I first mocked up these little pants in muslin, I wasn’t sure if they were a style that I could really pull off. After futzing just a little with the fit (took in the side seams, fixed the hip slope, and the shaved a little off the front crotch depth) I found them to be extremely flattering. They’ve got a great 60’s vibe, which works well with some of the fabrics that I tend to lean towards, like this glen plaid. Plus these were easy peasy, which is totally my style!
What thoughts do you have about the project? Ladies, you’ve gotta give these a try. This pattern was amazingly easy to fit – something I’ve not encountered in a pants pattern before. The crotch depth and length were practically spot on, so if you’re a beginner and have a skirt or two under your belt, these are definitely for you! Enjoy, Friends! Yes! I just saw these in person, and they are perfect. I couldn’t believe that fabric had stretch to it, so thanks for letting me get up close & personal, Sunni :)

So much to love about this outfit –
the colors aqua, red and tan
the juxtapostion of patent leather and matte texture of the jacket
the length of the pants is chic, but so hard to get right (and this looks fab!!)

Sunni- You are the cutest! I saw you wearing these at the sewing summit- and I was wondering how I was going to ask you if you created these or if you purchased these….
I just ordered this pattern yesterday, not knowing these were “the trousers”— Yipee, I feel like I won the lotto!!!!
