Her post about the pattern: Sweet Chantilly
What kind of fabric did you use? I used a Maggy London cotton panel, with sections of solid floral, a border print, and jacquard (whew!). It’s lined in a white cotton voile.
How did you decide to reflect your personal style in the pattern? I knew that I wanted a summery, really feminine and fun dress. I’m always drawn to prints, but I liked this fabric because it let me do something a little different – I got to play with the border print in a less conventional way.
What thoughts do you have about the project? The pattern posed enough of a challenge to make the project interesting, and the end result is just what I wanted. I took the time (for the most part!) to follow the instructions, something I’m generally not so good about, and I’m so glad that I did! I love this dress.
Thanks, Mika!

Wow, this is absolutely my fave so far – excellent job. It does go to show that a bit of thought in fabric and notions can make all the difference to the end result – well done Mika.
