Your feedback: New patterns more often?
I wanted to get your thoughts on something.
I’ve been mulling over changing our release schedule this year. Right now, we offer 2 or 3 new patterns twice a year, once in Spring and once in Fall.
I’m considering switching to releasing a new pattern every few months instead. We’d be releasing the same number of patterns over the course of a year, they’d just be released more often, say four times a year.
I like the idea of concentrating more fully on each pattern, doing photo shoots more often, and having new stuff to release throughout the year. But I really want to get your take too.

I also love the idea of having new patterns more often. I love every pattern and cannot afford to buy them all at once so if they came out on a regular schedule, I’d likely buy each one…It would also give me time to finish sewing the one I bought! In any case, keep them coming!

I like the idea of releasing a new pattern every few months – I’ve just bought your book and am already struggling to decide where to start! I also like the idea of using models with a variety of body shapes, especially if it were possible to state the model’s height and size as it’s not always possible to tell.

I’m looking forward to this new pattern. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication. I’ve never seen patterns made with such detailed care. I understand this requires a lot of forethought and time. I cannot speak for everyone, but I certainly appreciate this aspect of your business and look forward to any new releases when ever they are available, appreciating all the hard work that went into achieving it.

I am just going to echo all the othe r comments for patterns spread out throughout the year instead of as Carolyn said patterns coming “in bunches”” . For I,m afraid that is how it will look to me — a bunch of patterns, with decisions to be made on which one to order. I love your idea of new single pattern coming more frequently.
