Fall palette: gold, lapis, and garnet
Admiring antique jewelry on Instagram has become something of a pastime of mine. It can also be a wonderful source of color inspiration at this time of year.
I’ve been really drawn to the usual warm fall tones of gold, pumpkin, and garnet red, but mixed with a little shock of deep violet or lapis blue. It’s a little unexpected and a little regal.

I love looking at “days of old” for unique ideas and color schemes. Would love to see some Colette patterns designed specifically for knits, especially tops. Love the colors!

I love it! Very classic and so chic. I’ve been having trouble trying to motivate myself to move on to Fall sewing (I just keep wanting to sew summery tops and dresses)—definitely feeling inspired after this post. Thanks!

I love the jewel tones. But never have been a fan of gold and oranges on me. But this has guven me a new eye.
